On the eve of the Iraq War, a member of the top female country band, The Dixie Chicks, criticized President Bush. The documentary "Shut Up and Sing" depicts the nationwide backlash and the band's attempts to navigate the turmoil. We will discuss issues related to freedom of speech and cancel culture.
