The volunteer culture at Braver Angels is the driving force of our success.
The work of bringing Americans together to strengthen our democratic republic is a civic task that must be carried out by patriotic citizens freely giving their time and talent. Paid personnel can assist that activity, but they can’t be that activity. We can’t consult, invest, or buy our way to a more unified nation.
Our members must be willing to get involved.
Across the country, thousands of volunteers have answered this calling and are bringing our mission to their local communities. This, we believe, is the only way we will heal our nation: brick by brick from the bottom up.
No person in power is coming to save us. We must save ourselves.
