Braver Angels is powered by volunteers: everyday people who believe they have a role in bringing out the best in our country. And seeing our volunteers in action—giving their time and energy to bring together individuals who never dreamed they’d be in a room together—has buoyed me through all the political uncertainty.

I’m starting to learn more about the present work of Braver Angels. I live at Kendal at Oberlin, a retirement community that is very interested and involved with peaceful living and a better world and democracy. We are always looking for speakers that our independent living residents can attend and watch on our own TV. We do not pay speakers, but you may find contributors and members. So far when I talk to people about my recent discovery again, they do not know much about Braver Angels. Would you have any speakers willing to come through the week? Joyce Parker–“the scout”
