Tired of hyper partisanship? Are you concerned when you hear political leaders or friends and neighbors refer to those who hold opposing political views as “the enemy” or “evil?” Are you interested in listening to individuals explain why they hold certain political positions? Do you want people on “the other side” to hear your reasons for holding your own political beliefs? Are you willing to engage in respectful conversations with those who hold opposing views?
If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, you may want to consider attending an upcoming Braver Angels workshop, which will bring an equal number of “reds” (those leaning right and tending to vote Republican) and “blues” (those leaning left and tending to vote Democrat) together for an afternoon of structured conversations.
We will be conducting two Red/Blue Workshops near the Space Coast: one in Vero Beach on April 6, and one in Orlando on April 27. Over the last several months, we have conducted three workshops in Melbourne, several in the Fort Myers and Tampa area, and one in the Panhandle. You may register online at Eventbrite.com.
