The more I was able to productively disagree with people, the more I realized that I didn’t need them to agree with me in order for me to be okay. I found strength and peace in myself that left me feeling more empowered, even when the world felt scary and out of control.

I have been enjoying this podcast but I’m going to unsubscribe because the commentators keep repeating the same platitudes time after time!! I get it! You want us to talk civilly to each other. And everyone has good intentions. I get it!!
Actually do your homework and talk about the actual issue. Eg imprachment intelligently. One of the commentators was completely uninformed about this issue! You expect people to continue to listen?? It’s a waste of time if you don’t do your homework.
