For 20 years, Nick Gillespie has been the “intellectual godfather” of Reason Magazine and one of the leading minds of the libertarian movement in America. Yet while libertarianism has a notable place in American culture and has proven influential in our political conversation, it hasn’t yet proven itself to be a strong force in electoral politics.

    I enjoyed this podcast, as it allowed me to get a better understanding of the Libertarian Party. I have found the Centrist Party, which doesn’t have much formal following, but to me better encompasses my preferred positions. It is not about just being wishy/washy or not having a position, but about common sense approaches, looking long term and short term, to finding the best path for as many as possible, in part through compromise. It would be great if you could find a Centrist and have them on a podcast.
