Skiing to Bridge the Divide

Since 1979, the retired teacher and former Peace Corps volunteer (Malaysian Borneo, 1971-73) has participated in the American Birkebeiner 55 km (34 mile) cross-country ski race. Next month, while competing in his 40th Birkebeiner, Paul Thompson hopes to raise $40,000 across four organizations, and he has tapped Braver Angels to receive a quarter of funds raised.

The INVITATION – Join us!

No, you don’t have to ski the Birkie! Paul has a goal of raising $40,000 across 4 organizations, with $10,000 coming to support Braver Angels.

The ones who’ve engaged have experienced something that surprises them every time: the relief of disagreeing without contempt, and the discovery that the person across the table is not who the feed said they were.
