Let’s Work Together – A Workshop on the Southern Border

Local Focus: This is an in-person only workshop in the Bloomington/Ellettsville, Indiana area. There will be no remote access available.
If you want to change our border laws or keep them as they are, you have a chance to participate in a Braver Angels workshop to develop (or not) our border laws. This is a “Work Together Workshop,” created by our own South Central Indiana Braver Angels. In this workshop we will divide into our red and blue political leanings. In a fish bowl format, we will listen to what the other side wants to see in our border laws and visa versa. Then each group will meet separately to list what they believe needs to be in our border laws, including one item important to the other color. Lastly, our moderator will help integrate these ideas into a bipartisan law. Maybe our law will be so good, we will send it to Congress.
Come join us March 2nd, from noon to 2:00 at the Ellettsville branch of the Monroe County Public Library. John VanderZee from the Community Justice and Mediation Center will moderate this in-person workshop.
