Country and city folk disagree about many things, but we seldom get to know each other. Let’s change that!
Join us for moderated activities and structured discussions to reduce stereotyped thinking, clarify disagreements, and build relationships. We will find common ground through listening and learning rather than declaring and debating.
Our goals are:
- To gain an understanding of the experiences, feelings, and beliefs of someone who lives in a different kind of environment
- To acknowledge and respect differences, and to discover areas of common ground
- To generate ideas for how we might make a difference for bridging rural/urban divides
