We live in an era of moral certainty and deep social and cultural division. Could curiosity—a fundamental openness to, and wonderment about, the world and others—help us overcome this?
What are institutional, cultural and political barriers to curiosity? How can they be overcome? What are the tools for building curiosity?
Join us for a conversation on intellectual humility in our divided times. The panelists– Braver Angels Senior Media Advisor Monica Guzman and author and Civic Renaissance curator Alexandra Hudson, moderated by Braver Angels Director of Debates April Lawson–will have a conversation about how the love of learning and the life of the mind might be an important tool for healing our deep divides.
