Have you heard about our Rise for America Campaign? For the next 100 days, we’re encouraging people from across the country to take action that will bring individuals and communities together in constructive dialogue to depolarize our nation.
There are many actions you can take. One of the most powerful is to attend a Depolarizing Within workshop – and bring someone to join you! Invite whomever you’d like – whether they’re your favorite person to talk politics with, or someone with whom you struggle to find common ground.
You, and the folks who attend with you, will become more aware of your own “inner polarizer,” understand how to be critical without demonizing or stereotyping, and learn how to intervene when conversations veer into contempt. Depolarizing our nation starts with depolarizing ourselves, so we’d love to see you there.
As we said, this work can only be driven by individuals on the ground, so that’s why we’re asking you (yes, you!) to commit to doing one action that will grow our movement.
