This week . . . with the gun “debate” somewhat waning, the polarizers stalked the political landscape in search of other symbolic battlegrounds with which to seduce their respective bases. So as families and friends gathered to celebrate the deepest values and traditions of freedom, rebirth and renewal, the arrogant, self-serving, counterproductive rancor of polarization churned on.

When reading these examples, check the above list and ask yourself: regardless of whether you agree or disagree, is this really advancing an intelligent resolution through the persuasive, rational arguments of advocacy…or simply fueling the fire of conflict through the divisive, emotional manipulations of polarization?
