A Braver Angels Workshop
Bridging the Divide Between Rural and Urban Communities

Join us for a workshop that brings together rural West Virginians and urban area residents for moderated activities and structured discussions to reduce stereotyped thinking, clarify disagreements, build relationships, and find common ground through listening and learning rather than declaring and debating.
The goals of the workshop are:
- To gain an understanding of the experiences, feelings, and beliefs of someone who lives in a different kind of environment.
- To discover any areas of both differences and commonality.
- To generate ideas for how we might make a difference for bridging rural/urban divides.
