Walk A Mile In My News – Kickoff Event

Summary: An opportunity for Red/Blue pairs to explore how their respective news sources differ in covering topics of their choice. This exciting experience pairs Blue-leaning and Red-leaning individuals for a three-week journey to share news sources and information about mutually agreed-upon subjects.
The goal for participants is to:
- Explore subjects with a red/blue partner by exchanging news sources and engaging in respectful dialogue.
- Better understand how people with different political perspectives form their views and opinions.
- Explore potential bias in our own news sources.
- Build relationships with people of different political views.
- Discover areas of commonality.
At the conclusion of this journey, we will all meet up to discuss our experiences during our Reunion Event.
