Discussion on Vaccines and Vaccine Policy
Many Americans have trouble sustaining conversations on the issue of vaccines. This 90-minute discussion is designed to have a constructive conversation on this topic and avoid some common traps, rabbit holes, and flash points that leave both sides dissatisfied. The goals are to bring you up to date on current Minnesota vaccine laws, better understand different views on vaccines and consider how to move forward on public policies involving vaccines.
In this discussion, you will have the opportunity to:
• Increase your knowledge about compliance and requirements of Minnesota laws
related to vaccines. (See the fact sheet.)
• Listen to people who have differing views on vaccines in a way that allows them to feel
heard.
• Express your own views such that the other person can hear them.
• Consider ideas going forward for public policies on vaccines.
• Create community despite differences.
