Trump’s 2nd Term: Getting Things Done or Threatening the Constitution? (CA – Braver Angels Silicon Valley)

There has been a flurry of executive orders and actions taken by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in President Trump’s first months in office. To half the country, the President is using his legitimate authority to make needed changes to how the government operates. To the other half of the country, the President’s actions are an abuse of power that is bypassing the rule of law and threatening our democracy.
Please join the Silicon Valley Braver Angels for a free, moderated discussion on the important topic of executive branch power. It’s an opportunity to state your own views and to listen to what other people think, including those with a vastly different perspective.
