Values are broad concepts that often have many definitions, but
people often assume others define them similarly. That creates
natural opportunities for either powerful connections or
divisive misunderstandings
Currently, in our hyper-polarized political environment, values
are too often purposefully weaponized or subconsciously
misused in ways that falsely divide us and undermine our ability
to function as a society
