Religion and Politics: Let’s Talk About it

There’s an old saying that two subjects you should never bring up in polite conversation are religion and politics. But many people’s religious backgrounds and their political views are related, and some of the biggest issues in politics today have religious dimensions. Can exploring religion in polite conversation help us bridge political divides?
This 90-minute workshop will help you:
Understand the religious landscape of the United States today, including the growing population of individuals who don’t identify with any religion;
Explore the religious and non-religious cultures, beliefs, and practices that are important to you and how they are related to your political views;
Communicate across lines of religious difference in a constructive way.
