Pilot #2 – BAACNC Grandparents Initiative

Restricted Attendance: Only for BAACNC members and invited guests
This event will bring together a diverse group of conservative and liberal grandparents to:
1. Look for common ground. What do we worry about and what are our hopes when we think about the future? How might grandparents and youth across our communities, states, nation, and world work together to address these shared concerns and hopes ? How can we support bipartisan efforts to solve these problems and realize our hopes for the future?
2. Learn and practice skills for being good role models for our grandchildren and other family members. How do we talk about people on the “other side” of political issues? Are we respectful or contemptuous? How do we respond when family members disagree about political issues? Do we show courtesy, respect and curiosity, or do we try to end the conversation before people get nasty, or do we get into an ugly shouting match?
