Navigating Difficult Conversations

This one-hour session serves as both an introduction to Braver Angels and provides a “mini-experience” of what happens in one of Braver Angels’ longer experiences. During the session, you will be presented with the problem of polarization and learn how Braver Angels workshops are structured to address this problem. You will then get to practice an essential skill in difficult conversations by forming an ‘agree’ statement in response to two prompts.
Goals
- Develop awareness of the impact of political polarization
- Experience skill-building in an abbreviated format
- Learn about Braver Angels as an organization and its offerings
