Moderated Discussion: Military Involvement in Law Enforcement

How we are policed—how and by whom our laws are enforced—should be of interest to every citizen. You are invited to attend an in-person discussion about the involvement of the military (regular and National Guard) in law enforcement, and the militarization of local law enforcement. Panelists with experience in law enforcement, the military, and military law will help guide the discussion and provide expertise in understanding the often complex legal, policy, and practical issues that arise when military strength is deployed to ensure that civilians obey the law.
This free event will be held on Tuesday, February 10, from 6:00 – 7:30 pm in the Cottonwood Room, Laramie County Library. Cookies and water will be provided.
