Members Meeting – Justice: A Core American Value

Local Focus: Targeted at Southern California alliance members, but other Braver Angels are welcome
America is a nation founded on shared values. But do all Americans mean the same thing when referring to these values? The Orange County/South Bay Alliance of Braver Angels is hosting a 3-part series exploring the American values of Freedom, Justice, and Equality, and how different definitions of these values may contribute to American polarization.
This is the second event in the series and will focus on the value of Justice. Questions explored will include:
- What are the various philosophical concepts of justice?
- How does our view of human nature influence our concept of justice?
- Can a just society be achieved?
Exploration of the value of Equality will be held later in the year.
