Fishbowl Reflections on the Trump Administration
This fishbowl-style event will provide a structured space for two groups of red leaning Braver Angels to reflect on the Trump Administration following the State of the Union address held earlier in the week. Each fishbowl will consist of approximately 6-8 red leaning participants. Observers of any color leaning are welcome to listen.
Fishbowl Discussion Prompts
For Red Leaning Braver Angels who support the Trump Administration:
- What are your hopes for the Trump Administration and its policies?
- What concerns, if any, do you have about the Trump Administration and its policies?
For Red Leaning Braver Angels who do not support the Trump Administration:
- What concerns do you have about the Trump Administration and its policies?
- What hopes, if any, do you have for the Trump Administration and its policies?
Reflection & Processing for both groups
- What did you learn about how people in the other group see the Trump administration, and did you see anything in common?
Participants and Observers
- Each fishbowl will feature 6-8 participants with speaking roles. If you’re interested in being a participant, please contact Mary Beth Stibbins at mbstibbins@braverangels.org to check for availability.
- Observers of all political perspectives are welcome to attend. To join as an observer, please register through Eventbrite.
