Is Government Working?

What better way to kick off the summer of 2026, the 250th birthday of the United States of America, than to discuss whether the three co-equal branches of our Government are working as it was intended in the US Constitution?
For each branch, we will discuss strengths, dysfunction and root causes
– Legislative – Is Congress passing meaningful laws? Who do they serve?
– Has Presidential power grown too much? Is oversight real?
– Is the Supreme Court still independent? Do lifetime appointments still make sense?
