And when the pressure spikes, it hits us in the chest before it hits our brains.
We all know that moment when the temperature rises and a conversation turns into a collision.

At our next Cincinnati Braver Angels Alliance meeting, we’re stepping directly into that reality.
Not to debate it.
Not to fix it.
But to have the conversation that everyone avoids.

We will use these real‑world flashpoints as a training ground — a place to practice staying steady, curious, and connected when the stakes feel personal, and the emotions run hot.
This is where you build the muscle of calm conviction.

This is where leaders grow.

Braver Angels brings Reds and Blues into the same room to practice something harder and more meaningful than winning an argument. This session builds the skill of staying calm and focused when disagreement feels personal. You will learn how to guide the conversation instead of getting pulled into a lose-lose argument. And the best part is, we have prompts on several current topics so you can choose the topic(s) you want to discuss.

It’s the ability to hold your values without losing your cool or the relationship.
