Greater Cincinnati Alliance Meeting: Debate on U.S. International Aid
03/08/2027 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST
Local Focus: Greater Cincinnati Ohio and Northern Kentucky
America’s Interests, the World’s Needs: A Debate on U.S. International Aid
How should the United States balance its own priorities with the needs of other nations? What role should American aid play in addressing humanitarian crises, promoting global stability, and advancing U.S. interests?
Join us for a Braver Angels Debate designed not to declare a winner, but to understand differing perspectives, test our own thinking, and engage respectfully across political differences. Participants will hear arguments for and against a resolution on U.S. international aid, ask clarifying questions, and share their own views.
The resolution is being finalized. We’re looking for volunteers willing to speak for or against the resolution. Please let us know in advance if you’re interested.
You don’t have to be an expert or have a firm opinion. Come curious, ready to listen, and prepared to challenge your assumptions. This debate is a free event brought to you by Braver Angels, a 501(c)(3) non-profit as part of our mission to depolarize America. We invite you to consider a gift to Braver Angels; all donations are tax-deductible. Your support will allow us to offer more workshops and debates with the ultimate goal of uniting America.
Braver Angels events may be recorded and may be shared with media or used in Braver Angels publications, including web pages. Participants who object to this may notify the organizer.
