If you have completed our debate chair training eCourse and attended a Q&A session with an experienced chair, you are well on your way to chairing your first debate! The next step is getting live practice. Join us for this mock debate event where members of the Braver Angels Debate team and your fellow trainees will debate with one another and provide space for you to practice your newly acquired chairing skills. Trainees will take turns as the chair and be asked to participate in the mock debate during this training session. If you have any questions about this event, your eligibility to participate or the chair training process generally, please email debates@braverangels.org and we will be happy to assist you!
