DC- The Golden Rule Conversation Event

Join us for an afternoon of conversation centered around the Golden Rule, presented by the Braver Angels DC Alliance.
We nearly all learned about The Golden Rule when we were young, across faiths and societies. What else is left to learn about it? Our new one-hour, structured 1:1 Golden Rule Conversation shows that there’s so much more to explore about the Golden Rule (and some variants like the Platinum Rule) than what we heard as kids. The conversation covers what the Golden Rule means to each participant, successes and challenges applying it, and how it could be better implemented in the future, including to reduce polarization. Join us from 2-4pm at Tenley-Friendship Library, initially for a 1:1 conversation and then a group opportunity to share more about the conversations and possible next steps.
