Cancel Culture (Braver Angels Silicon Valley)

How do you feel about “cancel culture”? Is it an effort to suppress freedom of speech or merely the hyper-sensitivity of people with unpopular views? Has social media enabled cancel culture? If you would like to explore these questions with people from different political leanings, please join the March 6 event of Braver Angels Silicon Valley.
The goal of this event is to explore the impact of cancel culture on social and political discourse. We don’t expect to find a solution, or even to agree on whether there is a problem. It’s an opportunity for you to understand other people’s perspectives on the topic, and possibly find some common ground.
Please register to join us online on Saturday, March 6 at 11am Pacific. The event will span two hours, with an optional 30 minute “open mic” session after the formal program. Please invite your friends, relatives, and colleagues to join us for this event.
