Bridging the Gap: Making Connections through Meaningful Communication

Looking for additional live practice opportunities for developing Braver Angels LAPP skills?
Join us for a structured communication experience that supports respectful dialogue and equal participation. Centered around the notion that empathy generates connection, this communication series offers participants opportunities to engage in a process grounded in active listening and mutual understanding, to speak without interruption, share personal perspectives, and discover common humanity across partisan and cultural lines.
Whether seeking constructive dialogue, new tools for difficult conversations, or simple human connection in divided times, all voices are welcome. Invite a friend, family member, or co-worker with a different viewpoint from yours.
This is a twice-monthly virtual event hosted by Braver Angels network partner, The Empathy Center, to practice key Braver Angels communication skills: listening, acknowledging, and sharing perspectives. Previous experience not required.
