Braver Angels Music: Bridging Divides Through Music (BA National – Music)

In this interactive session, the Braver Angels Music Team shares about how we build bridges across political divides through music. Over the course of a meaningful, inspiring and fun 90 minutes, our team will lead you through our songwriting workshop process, inviting you to find common ground and get creative with your fellow attendees. This session includes both large-group conversation as well as small-group, breakout room conversations and exercises.
Braver Angels Music is a program of Braver Angels, a nonprofit dedicated to political depolarization. The organization runs workshops, debates, and other events where “red” and “blue” participants attempt to better understand one another’s positions and discover their shared values.
Our core music offerings include our Songwriting Program, where we train artists to lead Songwriting Workshop, our online community for musicians to gather, share, provide feedback, and support one another in leading change, and our content creation and distribution campaigns, including two national songwriting competitions.
