Join us for our local Braver Angels Meet & Greet!

News, social media, and politicians tell us that every American is far right or far left with no common ground. Braver Angels shows that’s not true.

Braver Angels does not try to change anyone’s mind on political issues — but it does help us understand why our family, friends, co-workers and neighbors think the way they do.

Political polarization is affecting us all — it is weakening our country, our communities, and our relationships, but we can change that. Braver Angels is the largest cross-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the divide. When Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Libertarians and others come together to explain their views and values to each other, we find out there is much more that unites us than divides us.

We can talk about political ideas and values, and listen to others in a respectful way. Braver Angels shows how. Come help bring Americans back together and preserve our democracy.

The new Braver Angels Alliance of Wilmington NC, the third in our state, will bring workshops, discussion groups, debates, 1:1 conversations, group volunteer work, social events, and more to reunite people in our community. We are just getting started in this important work, and we hope you will join us.
