Braver Angels Organizers fill an essential volunteer function and are often the glue that holds BA workshops together. This 90 minute, weekly training is led by Organizer trainers, Casey and Yvonne. The four week training schedule starts on the first Wednesday of each month. Two topics from the Organizer Step-by-Step guide are presented each week, and once you have completed the four week series, you can sign up for a qualification review session.
1st Wednesday Week 1: Workshops & the ERF
Introduction to being an Organizer, workshop requirements, and how to submit an Event Request Form
2nd Wednesday Week 2: ETS & Event Staff
Get acquainted with the Event Team Support app and workshop staffing needs
Third Wednesday Week 3: Eventbrite & Event Promotion
What an Organizer needs to know about Eventbrite registration and publicizing a workshop
4th Wednesday Week 4: Rehearsal & Event Day
Learn how to hold a dry-run, and about an Organizer’s responsibilities surrounding the big event
