Alliance/Members Meeting – Fairfax County holiday season get-together – In Person

At our December meeting we will celebrate the holiday season and look forward to the new year. We’ll set aside more than our usual 30-minute arrival window for socializing with a suggested icebreaker topic of how your holiday celebrations this year will incorporate or reflect your childhood holiday memories (i.e., how have your traditions evolved during your lifetime?). Our Braver Angels discussion topic will focus on topics of interest for 2024. The next election season will likely renew red/blue tensions, and many are suggesting the implications for our nation may be less about traditional red/blue perspectives and more about the basic nature of our democracy. How should our alliance meetings for 2024 address these tensions? What types of programs (i.e., personal skills building, workshops, guest speakers, open discussions) do you find the most valuable?
