Across Identity: Staying in the Conversation

In a time when it’s easier than ever to retreat into our own circles, what does it actually take to stay in conversation across difference?
This month’s Braver Music Network gathering explores a question at the heart of our work:
“Have you seen moments where people with shared identities (faith, race, culture, etc.) stayed in conversation with those of a different identity instead of retreating into camps? What made that possible?”
We’ll begin with a panel of artists, facilitators, and community leaders who have navigated these dynamics in real-world settings, followed by space for shared reflection as a community.
This is not a debate. It’s a space to listen, reflect, and learn from one another’s experience.
Whether you’ve been part of these moments or are still searching for them, you’re invited into the conversation.
