In a time of heightened political and cultural division, how can faith leaders and communities foster deeper understanding and bridge divides?
This month’s Braver Angels Faith Caucus gathering will explore:
Engaging Faith Communities in Depolarization – How do we encourage faith leaders and communities to embrace the work of reducing hostility and increasing understanding? Is “depolarization” the right term, or does another framing better resonate?
Faith and Shared Identity – In times of great division, should faith communities be emphasizing a shared American identity? What would that look like?
Patriotism as a Unifier or Divider – How is patriotism defined in your faith community? Is it fostering unity, or is it being weaponized to divide?
The Braver Angels Faith Caucus is a space for faith leaders, practitioners, and community members to come together, share perspectives, and develop strategies to bridge divides with wisdom, compassion, and conviction.
