Connecting Conversation: 2024 Election

Braver Angels Denver Alliance invites you to a Connecting Conversation about the 2024 Presidential Election. Certainly one of the most consequential in recent history, this election features policy positions on the economy, immigration and the border, abortion, climate change, foreign policy, healthcare, and leadership. These policy debates, which are dividing public opinion, don’t just represent differing viewpoints; they reflect different visions for the future of our country.
Discussions at Braver Angels encourage voices from different perspectives to create greater understanding of each other, not to change minds. To that end, as a participant, you will have a chance to talk uninterrupted for several minutes about the issues that are most important to you personally. Group members will ask you questions, not to grill or critique you, but to better understand how you came to your views. At Braver Angels meetings, we seek to understand our differences nonjudgmentally and with respect.
The primary question we will consider is:
What are the most important issues to you personally in the 2024 presidential election?
1) What in your life led you to value these issues?
2) What are your concerns should the other side win? Or, if your side should win?
