Film Discussion – “A Tale of Three Chinatowns”

“A Tale of Three Chinatowns” is an 85-minute, 2021 documentary that explores the survival of three urban ethnic neighborhoods, examining the forces altering each community and the challenges that go with them. It discusses why Chinatown in Chicago is thriving, the one in Washington, D.C. experienced “Disneyfication,” and the Boston Chinatown finds itself in between.
