School Vouchers

Do you realize Indiana was the first state to create school vouchers? Do you realize Indiana has the largest school voucher program in the United States? We have an expert from the Franklin Community Schools to help you understand how vouchers work. Former President of the Ivy Tech Franklin Campus, Tina Jobe is now the Chief Financial Officer for the Franklin Community Schools where she is responsible for payables, receivables, payroll, budgeting, grants financial reporting and long-term financial planning.
Her presentation will begin with a short synopsis of 1) vouchers, 2) advantages of vouchers on the community schools, 3) disadvantages of vouchers on the community schools, and 4) the future of vouchers. The rest of our workshop will be a question/answer period.
