Reds and Blues Talk Green (over free taco lunch)
April 11 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT
Join the Chicagoland Braver Angels Alliance or a special Earth Day–season gathering that brings together people with a wide range of perspectives on the environmental movement—over a free taco lunch. We’ll spend the afternoon in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, visiting the Chicago Park District’s annual Earth Day Resource Fair at Dvorak Park and then gathering across the street at Monochrome Brewing for lunch.
The Alliance will cover the cost of food; you just pay for drinks.
If you can only make it or lunch, you’re still very welcome.
In the spirit of Braver Angels, we believe Americans across the political spectrum care deeply about the world they leave to future generations. This event isn’t about changing minds—it’s about sharing a meal, listening with curiosity, and finding common ground, even amid real disagreement.

Parking: Street parking in the neighborhood. Saturdays in Pilsen are popular! More parking may be available south of the park, nearer our lunch destination, than north of the park towards the busy 18th Street corridor.
Dietary Restrictions: when registering, please indicate any dietary restrictions.
Tickets are Free, Donations Help: We gratefully accept donations to help us defray Alliance expenses (such as the cost of tacos!) and finance local outreach.
