Politics at the Pub

Long before there was the kind of polarization that makes people avoid political discussions, the tavern was a staple in the in the social, political, and travel lives of America’s citizens.* We want to bring the spirit of civil conversation and exchange of ideas BACK to the American tavern with “Politics at the Pub”!
At this fun, engaging event, you will have an opportunity to learn more about Braver Angels and the Forward Party and what they have in common. You will also enjoy the delicious food and drink at Doherty’s Irish Pub in Cary in a special room for our group. We will kick things off with an exercise in SPEED LISTENING! So, be sure to prepare by visiting the Braver Angels and Forward Party websites and reading the “About Us” pages for both groups.
