About this event
Many Americans share concerns about domestic security, the rule of law, and the Constitution. Yet, are we reaching out to talk to our families, friends, neighbors, and fellow Oregonians who may not necessarily share our point of view?
Peace Forum’s goal is to take this step and invite liberal, conservative, and independent Oregonians who may otherwise be reluctant to talk, or don’t know where to start, or have questions but are afraid to ask.
The Peace Forum will have a panel of conservative, independent, and liberal folks from all walks of life. You, the audience, will be asking questions. You may want to direct a question to a veteran like you, or a senior like you, a Gen Zer like you, or a person of faith like you.
We aim to challenge our viewpoints and to re-engage with each other. We hope that by understanding broader points of view, we may move toward uniting our community in peace.
We will fairly rotate questions between conservatives, liberals, and independents. Microphones and question cards will be available for you. Please arrive early to complete a question card. The welcome table will be open at 9:30 a.m.
