Learn Practical Steps to Building Positive Relationships in Divided Times

Join us for a Braver Angels facilitated discussion and author talk based on the book “Beyond the Politics of Contempt: Practical Steps to Build Positive Relationships in Divided Times”, by local authors Doug Teschner and Beth Malow.
The book focuses on ways to mend relationships torn apart by politics and empowers people to take actions to rebuild a national culture of kindness, dignity, trust, and respect.
Our aim is to find a way to turn the politics of fear and contempt into the politics of hope.
Hosted by a group of concerned citizens in Sharon, this event will provide a safe and encouraging space to meet and constructively converse with those who may have different opinions and beliefs.
We will find our shared humanity and desire to strengthen our communities, working toward that “more perfect union”, by promoting general welfare, justice and tranquility.
Pizza and salad will be provided at 1:30 pm. Discussion begins at 2:00 pm. Books will be available for purchase, and the authors will sign books after the event.
