Connecting Conversation: A Discussion on Immigration

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming event, “Connecting Conversation: A Discussion on Immigration.” Join us for a nonpartisan community conversation about one of the most complex and important issues facing our country and our local Denver community.
At this event, we’ll explore some of the most pressing questions surrounding immigration today:
- What are your primary hopes and concerns regarding immigration, and how have they been shaped by your personal experiences or community?
- How does the current immigration system impact our society, both economically and culturally, from your perspective?
- How can we balance the needs of national security and the rule of law with our values as a nation of immigrants and humanitarian principles?
- In what ways can we find common ground on policy solutions despite the deep political divisions surrounding this topic?
Rooted in Braver Angels’ ethos of respectful, civil discourse, this event aims to foster a meaningful and respectful conversation on immigration and how we communicate across the political divide. Through small-group discussions, you’ll have the opportunity to share your perspective and listen to others in a safe and structured environment.
