Civil Conversations Series – In Person

Local Focus: Event will be in person only at Fletcher Library, 823 N Buchanan St, Little Rock, AR 72205
The Civil Conversations series is a monthly event with the following goals: 1) practice and improve civil communications skills while discussing specific topics; 2) identify common ground/common points that people can agree on within a specific topic. Each meeting will include an introduction of participants, overview of what Braver Angels is, introduction of the evening’s topic(s) of discussion, questions for processing after the discussion, and an evaluation of how participants felt the discussion went. Participants will be asked to treat everyone with respect, be curious, listen to understand, keep emotions in check, focus on policies/values more than people/parties, and look for common ground.
