Braver Angels Songwriting (Workshop) (BA National – Music/New York Society for Ethical Culture)

Calling all songwriters and music lovers! Braver Angels Music is bringing our Common Ground Songwriting Workshop to New York City for the first time! This unique workshop is designed to bring together community members of different political perspectives to find common ground on an issue they care about – all through the creative act of songwriting!
The experience is facilitated by a trained Braver Angels Music songwriter who will guide you from start to finish. The workshop begins with a facilitated group conversation that allows everyone to express their perspectives freely and openly. That conversation will then transform into a group songwriting experience where we’ll turn our dialogue and perspectives into a song.
No musical experience necessary!
Monday, September 15: 6pm-9pm (Dialogue & Songwriting)
Tuesday, September 16: 6pm-9pm (Finish Songwriting)
Wednesday, September 17: 6pm-9pm (Sound Check & Concert)
