Braver Angels Baton Rouge Local Forum: Should Birthright Citizenship Be Changed or Left As Is?

President Trump issued a number of challenges during his first 100 days, including the meaning of the 14th Amendment, which states that “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States. . .” Braver Angels has conducted a series of nationwide debates on Trump’s policies, including this one. We will view a 10-minute video digest of the debate, then open it up to group discussion.
