Birthright Citizenship: Constitutional Right or Policy Debate? (NC – Braver Angels Alliance of the Sandhills)

The debate over birthright citizenship is back in the national conversation, raising fundamental questions about the Constitution, immigration, and what it means to be an American. Some argue that the 14th Amendment guarantees citizenship to anyone born on U.S. soil, while others push for changes, citing concerns over immigration policies and national identity.
At our March Braver Angels discussion, we’ll take a thoughtful, respectful, and open-minded approach to this timely topic. Together, we’ll explore:
