Braver Angels Organizers fill an essential volunteer function and are often the glue that holds BA workshops together. This 90 minute, weekly training is led by Organizer trainers, Casey and Yvonne. The four week training schedule starts on the first Wednesday of each month. Two topics from the Organizer Step-by-Step guide are presented each week, and once you have completed the four week series, you can sign up for a qualification review session.
1st Wednesday Week 1: Introduction to becoming an Organizer
Choosing your event and deciding on the details/Recruiting your volunteers (part 1)/Publicizing and promoting your event.
2nd Wednesday Week 2: Submitting the ERF and using the ETS
Get acquainted with the Event Request Form and using the Event Team Support app to manage and staff your event
Third Wednesday Week 3: Eventbrite & Registration list Event Promotion
What an Organizer needs to know about Eventbrite and monitoring registrations.
4th Wednesday Week 4: Rehearsal & Event Day
Learn how to hold a dry-run and about an Organizer’s responsibilities surrounding the big event, including post-event reporting.
