Alliance/Members Meeting – Guns and Mental Health

We will be tackling a front-of-mind issue in Maine right now due to our state’s recently endured mass shooting. The Lewiston tragedy has reinvigorated the discussion on preventing such events in the future. As always, it is about both guns and mental health, with some calling for tightening gun restrictions and others believing a stronger mental health system is the key. We’ve convened a panel of people who represent communities on both sides of this divide.
